Hup Kiong has established since 1980s as a renovation company with a showroom at Ang Mo Kio. Hup Kiong has expanded over the years and has set up a branch to focus in industrial products. In 1994, it opened a 17,000 sq. ft showroom at No.11 Defu Lane 9. The showroom displays many varieties of building materials especially tiles imported from Italy, Spain, USA, Belgium and other countries.

In the past 7 years, Hup Kiong has succeeded in introducing the Mediterranean style or country style to Singapore.
