Botticino marble is a type of compact micritic limestone of beige colour, formed by the slow and continuous process of sedementation, cementation and recrystallization of calcareous mud. The creamy colour along with its white and golden veins is one of the most appreciated marbles for flooring purposes. It offers no absolute uniformity in veins, colours, shades and structures.
